# Timxel

> Timxel is a social mobile app for pet lovers. Think Instagram and X combined,
> but built only for pets: every pet gets its own profile, owners share photos,
> videos and reels, keep daily streaks, track medical records across a pet
> family tree, and get advice from verified veterinarians in help posts.

Timxel is free, dark-themed by default with a warm honey/espresso identity,
and is built for iOS and Android (React Native / Expo). It has no direct
messages by design: it is a public, feed-first community.

## What you can do in Timxel

- **Per-pet profiles**: one family account manages multiple pets; every post
  and reel is tagged to a specific pet, which builds its own followers.
- **Memories feed**: full-bleed photo and video cards from pets you follow,
  plus a stories strip. Scroll back through a pet's whole life.
- **Reels**: full-screen vertical video feed with paw reactions.
- **Daily streaks**: a small daily challenge, like posting a picture with
  your cat or logging today's walk. Completing it grows your streak, similar
  to Snapchat streaks.
- **Medical records**: vaccines, medications and vet visits stored on each
  pet's profile.
- **Family tree / lineage**: link a pet to its parents, children and
  ancestors to see hereditary health conditions across generations.
- **Family accounts**: multiple humans in one household share the same pets,
  post together and keep streaks together.
- **Help posts**: structured pet cases (species, breed, age, symptoms, meds,
  diet) answered by the community and by verified vets.
- **Comments and follows**: threaded replies, quick emoji reactions, image
  attachments. No DMs, on purpose.

## For veterinarians

Vets get a dedicated account type and can reply to help posts, building a
public track record of answered cases.
